Description
Photo Art of a beautiful pink Camellia bloom found on the Alabama State Capital Building grounds. The camellia (Camellia japonica L) was designated the state flower of Alabama in 1959, replacing the original state flower, the goldenrod, which was adopted in 1927. The Camellia japonica is the most widely grown ornamental species of the genus. From conservatories of eighteenth century Europe, to plantations of Americas south, the camellia has been a pampered and cherished plant, a living symbol of elegance and aristocracy. The original photograph was digitally enhanced to create an HDR style art piece. Stunning for your home or office decor. Lovely as a greeting.
