Description
A Mottled duck swims quietly in Big Spring Park located in Huntsville, Alabama interested in what I have to offer him. The ducks of Big Spring Park are quite use to the usual spectators. The park is home to a wide variety of species of ducks and geese. Mottled ducks are a member of the Anas fulvigula family. It resides throughout the most Southern states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. They are easily identified by dark plumage, much lie that of the Mallard species, and stark orange legs. Their food of preference is small insects and water plants. Their nests are commonly located near desns vegetation which provides less detection from preditors. They do not migrate.

This image would make a wonderful addition to any residential or commercial space where wildlife is appreciated and nature is admired. Great childrens room print. Wonderful image for home staging projects or lobby areas.
