Description
Photography of a Camellia bloom on the Alabama State Capital Building grounds. The original color photography was digitally enhanced into HDR artwork. This soft vintage feel makes for a wonderful wall art piece to suit almost any decor. The neutral colors will blend nicely with most color schemes and a wonderful price for interior decorating and home staging projects keeping your art budget in line. Beautiful as nursery art as well.

The camellia (Camellia japonica L) was designated the state flower of Alabama in 1959, replacing the original state flower adopted in 1927 (goldenrod). Camellia japonica is the most widely grown ornamental species of the genus.
The name camellia was given to the genus by the Swedish botanist Linnaeus, who developed the bino-mial system of nomenclature used to classify plants. From Europe to the Americas the camellia has been a pampered and cherished plant, a living symbol of elegance and aristocracy.
