Description
Photography of a vintage sewing machine bobbins and a thimble. These vintage sewing machine accessories hold a very special place in my heart. You see they belonged to my great grandmother who taught me how to sew with them when I was very young. They belonged to her treadle foot Singer sewing machine. It was converted into electric eventually, but we did enjoy sewing with the pedal for fun. She wanted me to understand how it worked and how things were actually done in the past. There are two other related images in my gallery of these treasured items. They would make a wonderful collage together for anyone who enjoys the craft of sewing. They make a fun and unique wall print for urban and commercial decor situations as well.
First collector of this print resides in New Baltimore, MI
(And the unique thing about this buyer? They purchased the print unknowingly on my great grandmothers Birthday! December 10, 2019 she would have been 123 years old! Which makes the money made so much significant compared to the date it was purchased! Happy 123rd Mama Moore! I love and miss you each minute of my life!

Thanks so much to my new collector in New Baltimore, MI. I hope you will enjoy your purchase for many years. I wanted to share a special thought I noticed when I was advised of the sale. You purchased the image on my great grandmothers birthday! The thimbles and bobbins were from HER vintage Singer sewing machine. How ironic that was to me. I am so happy to have someone purchase this print especially the date it was purchased and the background of the image itself and it’s very special personal meaning the image holds for me. Happy Holidays!,,
