Description
Photo Art in yellow and black, of a Camellia bloom found on the Alabama State Capital Building grounds, Montgomery,Alabama. The original color photography was digitally enhanced into artwork with yellow, salmon and black overtones. Beautiful decor piece for home or business with a modern twist.
The camellia (Camellia japonica L) was designated the state flower of Alabama in 1959, replacing the original state flower the goldenrod, which was originally adopted in 1927. From the ornate conservatories of eighteenth century Europe, to the stately plantations of Americas south, the camellia has been a pampered and cherished plant, a living symbol of elegance and aristocracy.
