Description
Queen Annes Lace Vintage by Lesa Fine
Photography of the wildflower called Queen Anne's Lace. This plant is also known by it's botanical name, Daucus carota. This beautiful creamy white, tiny petaled beauty dominate our farm in North Alabama. Beautiful miniature flowers in the hundreds cover each disk shaped flowerette, each stem a stunner in its own right.
When photographing them I always seem to see some sort of spider or insect within the head of the plant. Especially when closed in its cocoon shape. Lovelly floral display. Old folk medicine tales state that the seeds when infused would inhibit pregnancy. Lol
